Serpent’s Ruin UI v2.0
Here is the new Ruin v2.0 textures. You’ll notice some changed since v1.0. First, I reduced the top and bottom texture usage so there are more breathing room in the game window. The Target Frame been moved from Top Right to Bottom Center, and the radar from Bottom Center to Top Center. Most of my textures been modulize so you can disable some of them or move them around to your liking, like the Horde flag, 3x4 flag background, and the radar rock crop.
This image demonstrate how the raid bar would look when you are in a raid, and how the target frame, target model, and target of target behave when you have a target selected.
And a UI isn’t complete until you see a bunch of scribble on the screen shot.
DOWNLOAD
- Serpent’s Ruin v2.0 Package (include DUF_custom.lua, DART_custom.lua, DFM_custom.lua, fonts, textures, and 3D Models)
- Discord Art Latest Version (DART)
- Discord Frame Modifier Latest Version (DFM)
- Discord Unit Frame Latest Version (DUF)
INSTRUCTION
- Make sure you downloaded the latest version of DART, DUF, and DFM from the link above. Put them in your [Interface/AddOns] folder under your World of Warcraft directory.
- Place the SerpentRuin2.rar file in your [Interface/AddOns] folder and unrar it. Click yes to over-write the files.
- Now load up the game and log into any of your characters. Type /dart to open up DART config. Go to Misc Options and select “Custom” under Set Profile and hit Load. Be sure to also type a new Profile name under New Profile and hit Create. Close DART config.
- Type /duf to open DUF config. Same thing here, under Misc Options and select “Custom” under Load Profile and hit Load. Type a new Profile name under New Profile and hit Create. Close your DUF config.
- One more time, now type /dfm to open DFM config. Select “Custom” under Load Profile and hit Load. Type a new Profile name under New Profile and hit Create. Close your DFM config.
- I would say you are done but it probably don’t look exactly like my screen shot. This is due to a few reason. I play at 1600x1200 resolution (64% scale) and if you play at any setting other than this, the textures may not fit your screen exactly right. This is where you need to learn DART a bit to play around with resizing the textures and moving them around. I also link each of them together so you only need to move the bottom right and top right texture and the others will move with it.
- You’ll need to open up DFM and start moving stuff around like your chat box, your mini map, ect.
- Good Luck
EXTRA SETUP
- You should download CT_Viewport to adjust your game area display.
- I have a Titan bar on top and on bottom, I had them display only when mouseover and it really does clean up the UI when you have them hidden.
- Others AddOns I use is Needy List, Necrosis, and QuestIon (I like how it fade out, unlike Monkey Quest).

Hey now! Awesome looking UI… unfortunately i’m like 45% of the way it looks on your screenshots. I followed all the directions that were posted here on your page and everything seems to load up correctly except the bottom part and I also lose my chat box.
I’m new to this style of UI placement on my screen so I’m not sure which of the following three options “dart,duf,dfm” is the correct one to actually bring up my chat box to the screen. Is it possible to bring up my chat box in my screen or my resolution is too small? Also with the screenshot i’m providing please tell me what I’ve done wrong or whats missing or what can be improved. Also there is this weird box in the middle of my screen and I don’t know how to get rid of it.

Hi,
Your UI looks soo awesome, but the one thing is that my one doesnt look like ur one at all xD Look nearly exactly the same as Maddisons. The wierd red box in center etc. Mybe you could write a more detailed set of instructions??

It’s because people are leeching and not sharing their torrents. Torrents only work if everyone participates. Once you have downloaded it, keep your bit torrent program running (and sharing) so you can help others with the download as well.
